Weddings in St Matthew’s

 

Please come along to church to get an information pack and application form.

The date for your wedding can be arranged with the Rector at this time.

 

Church Attendance

It is expected that you should attend worship on a regular basis for at least six months before your wedding, and wedding preparation evenings with the

Rector.

Our services are at 11.30am (unless otherwise notified in the weekly pew notes)

Fees

There is a total charge of £300 for our services.

This includes your wedding and preparation with the Rector, someone to open the church at an agreed time so your florist can decorate the church,

and an organist for your wedding ceremony.

 

A GUIDE TO THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

GIVING NOTICE

You must both give notice of your marriage.  This means that each of you must fill in a Marriage Notice Application Form, obtainable from:

The Registrar of Marriages, City Hall, BELFAST, BT1 5GS

Or from their website:   http://www.belfastcity.gov.uk/marriages/marriagenoticeform.pdf

The Rector will need to sign this form to say she is officiating at you wedding.
